As a Perth wedding celebrant, I have had the pleasure of performing ceremonies in many beautiful locations, but every time I officiate a wedding at the Perth wedding venue Matilda Bay Restaurant in Crawley, Western Australia, I get goosebumps. The combination of the stunning waterfront setting, the delicious food, (and of course the couple's love for each other) always make ceremonies here unforgettable. I didn't even mention how Black Swans float past! Or even the occasional dolphin.

Matilda Bay Restaurant is located on the banks of the Swan River and offers breathtaking views of Perth's skyline. The venue's elegant and modern décor provided the perfect backdrop for the Clare & Andrew's intimate day.

This Perth wedding ceremony was held on the grass next to the venue's outdoor terrace, which offered unobstructed views of the river and city skyline. The couple chose to exchange vows under a beautifully decorated arbor, which added a touch of romance to the setting. With that spectacular backdrop, the couple exchanged rings and sealed their vows with a kiss.

After the ceremony, the couple had family portraits at the ceremony area, and then went to the University of Western Australia for bridal photos. UWA has many great spots, including the Tropical Grove and Sunken Gardens. Meanwhile the guests moved to the venue's private terrace and function room, the Catalina Room, for the reception. The room was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements, and with the incredible views from the large windows, creating an inviting atmosphere. The food was exquisite, with a range of delicious dishes that catered to all dietary requirements.

Overall, the wedding at Matilda Bay Restaurant was a truly magical experience. The venue's stunning location, impeccable service, and delicious food made it the perfect choice for this special day. I was honored to officiate the ceremony and to witness the love and commitment between the couple.
